The iPhone 4/4s has excellent video and image making capabilities built right into the phone. However, due to their compact nature, all smartphone and tablet cameras suffer from somewhat exaggerated levels of what is known as "lens flare." The camHoodie provides a very simple solution to exaggerated lens flare.

You just slide the universal "camHoodie back" into your favorite hard back case and start shooting. The lens hood is made of a high grade rubber like material that is very durable and will not harm or scratch the back of your phone. There are no adhesives or materials that attach to the phone. In fact, the clear plastic that holds the rubber lens hood in place provides additional protection for the back side of your phone.

The camHoodie will not remove all cases of lens flare, as this is inherently a part of modern day optics, but it will greatly reduce the effects of lens flare on your photos. For those unfamiliar with lens hoods, what the camHoodie does is provide a little coccoon of protection from stray light rays entering the lens elements from the edges of the frame.
