    • Fotodiox Pro 186mm Slim MC-CPL Filter is a single threaded, multi-coated circular polarizer (MC-CPL) filter made of optical glass and featuring a rotating ring to allow for light ray selection. Remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass. CPL Filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. CPL filters can also be used to saturate colors and to provide better contrast. The effect can be seen through the cameras viewfinder and changed by rotating the filter ring. The filter factor varies according to how the filter is rotated and its orientation to the sun or light source (approx. 0.3-3 stops). Typical applications include darkening skies and adding contrast to clouds, eliminating water reflection and window/glass/eyeglass reflection. CPL filters are specifically designed for use with auto-focus SLR cameras(They will also work on manual focus systems and video cameras without problems). The multiple lens coatings on the filter are designed to minimize unwanted color casts and reflections in your image for a sharper clearer photo.

    All products purchased as new carry a 2 Year/24 month Limited Warranty from Fotodiox from date of purchase. Our warranty provides coverage for defects in manufacturing only while supplies last. Our limited warranty expressly excludes coverage for excessive wear and tear and/or physical/accidental abuse, loss or theft. The limited warranty is not applicable on consumable items, items marked as used or clearance, or items bought from unauthorized dealers. Advance replacements are not provided under any circumstance. 

    The customer is solely responsible for shipping defective product back to us.

    Customers are responsible for Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country.
    Please allow up to 10 business days (from the time we receive the return) for your warranty item to be processed. We will provide free standard shipping (USPS First Class / UPS Ground) when sending the replacement product back to you. If expedited shipping is requested, there will be an additional charge.
