Lens Adapters

As the leader in lens adapter offerings, it's no surprise that we make a point to expand our different lines of specialty adapters or increase the support or offerings of different lens mounts For years. we've helped people open up avenues of creativity to experiment with different lenses, or just helped creators use their vintage, older glasses on their modern cameras.

Our line of Shift adapters was expanded for the first time in years. Some big changes were made; instead of focusing on full-frame lenses, our new Shift adapters make the most of medium format lenses and even add an Arca Swiss compatible tripod foot. Use these robust shift adapters to correct perspective or stitch together images to make wide panoramas.

DLX Stretch adapters feature a focusing helicoid that allows for fine adjustments of the lens' focal plane, which can improve close-focus performance. We gave some love to the Canon EF and Nikon F mount cameras, giving them access to Medium format lenses. Meanwhile, theCanon RF, L-mount, and Nikon Z-mount all gained DLX Stretch adapters for a variety of full-frame lenses.

The TLT ROKR line of tilt/shift adapters added support for the Pentacon 6 mount, as well as the Bronica ETR. Like the shift adapters, these newer TLT ROKR adapters have a tripod foot attached, allowing you to keep the lens steady while the camera plane moves.

We now offer support B4 lenses for the Canon RF, Fujifilm X, and Nikon Z mounts. The B4 lenses are popular in the video and broadcast world, notable for their parfocal capabilities and servo-operated zoom. Still, it's worth noting the lenses were developed with the 2/3" sensor in mind, so our video guy Sean lays out some good settings to consider to make the most of these lenses in this video.

Though late in the year, the biggest surprise drop was the Mamiya rangefinder lenses. Previously, we've only supported the Mamiya 7 lenses on the Fujifilm GFX and Nikon Z cameras, but with our most recent Fusion launch, we added support for L-mount and Sony E-mount cameras. We also came out for our first Fusion adapter that accepts Mamiya 6 lenses, and at the moment, it's exclusive to the Fujifilm GFX system.

Lighting

SkyFiller Wings got a revamp on the 2x2' and 1x4' models. The output is increased from 150w to 200w. There have been helpful quality-of-life changes, like app compatibility and the ability to mount the ballast to the stand. The new round of SkyFiller Wings also comes two styles of diffusers: the standard slim SkyFiller softbox, which is good for most standard applications, as well as an area softbox, which lets the SkyFiller light larger spaces than its standard softbox.

The Warrior 400X is another light we were very excited to launch. Our Warrior series of monolight-styled continuous LED lights have been a staple for creators that dabble into both photo and video. The Bowens mount makes the light versatile in the sort of setups it can create, allowing you to use all of your favorite light modifiers. The Warrior 400X is also the first warrior light since the original 150D to have an internal ballast, which keeps the studio clean and makes cord management a breeze.

Other Gear

After Sigma came out with their 14mm 1.4 DG DN Art lens, we made a filter holder for it. It joins the WonderPana XL lineup that uses our round 186mm threaded filters and 8x10" rectangular filters.

Creators with the Nikon Zf will be pleased to know that we offer a DLX camera grip for their camera. The Zf is a beautiful camera that brings classic, vintage aesthetics to their Z-mount technology, and the grip only improves the ergonomics.

While unassuming, we did also come out with a new clip that can any of our collapsible panels. Use this clip to allow any stand with a 5/8" stud to hold a background or reflector.

Our new LensGuard is a series of lens covers perfect for shooting when you're on the move. The weather-resistant, rugged, padded material keeps your lenses protected and clean. Currently, we have two sizes and both of which are secured with a drawstring-style cord.

With 2025 on the horizon, we can't wait for the exciting new products that you'll be bringing to you next year!
